I do so love that Hedy Lamarr was at heart a nerd.Had never heard of Wanda Gag. Checked her out on Amazon and her books look delightful.
Mary ~ If you get only one, get Growing Pains, it is sort of like an illustrated combination of Litle House on the Prairie and Portrait of the Artist as a Young (Wo)Man. Millions of Cats should be at your local library.
This is such an interesting post. I didn't know Wanda Gag. Or that the astonishingly beautiful Hedy Lamarr had a scientific side. Three fascinating women. I will have to look up Growing Pains as well.
The 1920's were a very interesting time, in a way more revolutionary than the 60's.
