Samaris - Ég Vildi Fegin Verða

A video from Silkidrangar, the new album by the Icelandic trio Samaris. Moody electronica set to 19th century Icelandic poetry. Their music continues to impress; this video is first rate as well. The song´s title loosely translates as "I would have been glad."

I also recently discovered this trove of Icelandic music archives from the London's Croydon Radio. Hours and hours of contemporary Icelandic music, presented in a no-nonsense format by Peter L Evans.

Wonderful! Trippy symbolism, enigmatic message. Thanks for the music link, too.
