Revelation

The New Yorker cartoons are much funnier after drinking 2 glasses of white wine while eating a half a bar of bitter-sweet chocolate and sipping on a cup of iced coffee.

Ah, that is the key to making the cartoons funny! Unfortuanatley when I regularly read the New Yorker I was underage. Had I been able to drink while reading it, I might still be doing it today.
