Faded Flowers

Cut flowers are always a bittersweet pleasure.

The secret lives of these plants has now ended.

But there are lots of flowers,

A flower's beauty enhances the survival of the species;

Whether cut or not.

In their final stage they remain beautiful.

As beautiful as they were in first bloom.
