$57.98 Thanksgiving
After a marathon two hour holiday shopping session on Amazon my grand total, with shipping and taxes, was $57.98.
Our leg of lamb for dinner today costs nearly that much.
If anyone is betting on me to spend our way out of the recession, I afraid you've picked the wrong horse.
If anyone on my gift list is reading this; remember: It is the thought that counts.
Be thankful for small favors.

I think my little girl has her heart set on a $10 Mickey Mouse book from Walgreens.
Something to be thankful for!

Same amount we spent on our (huge) free range, organic (but not heritage) turkey!
I seen YOU didn't gain any weight over Thanksgiving. You're wasting away, Batty!

I didn't update my weight- I stand corrected. (My goal is 155)

Not that it's any of my business, but 155 seems pretty low for someone of your height. Those fat reserves get us through the long, cold winters and give us some protection when our immunity is low! Just a LITTLE fat reserve, you know.

I've been as low as 118 at this height.
That was too low.
155 is a goal, I'd like to stay in the upper 150's. I was nearly there in Iceland, and I felt really good- of course Iceland may have had something to do with the way I felt.

Yeah. Whatever weight I was in Iceland, that is how I want to feel. All the time.
