Three Muses

Older than the nine muses, they they signify attributes of human thought.

From a lullaby to a new born,

To all the symphonies and operas ever performed.

Emotion and passion may lead us astray.

Confusion and ignorance lead us to despair.

Hatred and arrogance blind us.



But they,

The three muses,

Are still with us:

* Melete, or Practice

* Mneme, or Memory

* Aeode, or Song
