Skólavörstígur

The other big shopping street. It is a little more diffuse, not as flashy as Laugavegur, but it does have its own charm. The last time I was there, on the walking tour, it felt like it was a street to be traversed on the way to other, more interesting places. Be that as it may, it is the home of 12 Tónar, hippest record store in the universe, as well as Café Babalu, Reykjavík’s funkiest coffee shop.
